Another Monday is upon us, the weekends goes way too fast in the summer. This morning I am trying out a theme by Hedone Design called “Sense” it is available at Themes4bb premium store for $6.99 . It is the kind of theme that makes me sit here and want to play with for hours to try to figure out how the heck did they do this? I am pretty impressed at the way the Homescreen is set up, three icons on the bottom dock for Profiles, Phone and Manage Connections. Four Icons above that are user customized and when scrolling to the right eight more icons appear. Scrolling to the left on homescreen gets you to a white window with Messages, Calendar and SMS . Also it was pretty easy to change the wallpaper to the ones I have saved. It has hidden today option as well. Green underlays and Menu selections are featured through out the theme. However the only fault I can find with this theme is that on the BlackBerry Messenger screen you are not able to see the status of the conversation unless it is highlighted, I am the type of BlackBerry Messenger user who looks at the status of my conversations a great deal through out the day and not being able to see it is frustrating. The theme flows exceptionally well, no lag whatsoever on my Blackberry. I would suggest to try their themes, they are very well done.

I am very excited to show off this theme because it personifies the individuality of each Blackberry User. This theme is fantastic because it has a photo collage of three pictures with the ability to be customized and serve as the Calendar, Messages and Sms. Also has a top hidden dock with 8 icons, all done in a pretty purple wallpaper. Font is very cutesy and easy on the eyes. Icons have a sleek look that is very appealing. It is a must have for your Blackberry! Blackberry ThemePark was kind enough to customize one just for BBChick and I am hoping that it will be available soon at our store. Keep an eye for it ladies!

I’m back Ladies and Gents and this time we’re going to review an application called VersaTools. There’s been many applications that have caught my eyes within the last few weeks and this one is at the top of the list. However, I’m still a fan of QuickLaunch but this puppy has a little more kick : ) The functions of this application are what most BlackBerry users want and need to be productive. Some of the features that caught my attention were the “Run on Start” and “Run on Schedule”. Having the ability to start certain applications on start up or even having a tool to schedule certain applications to run is just totally radical. Below I’ve listed the features of VersaTools:
Alarms: Set as many nameable and snoozable alarms using whatever ring tones you like for any combination of days and times
Canned Responses: Save short or long email clippings and combine them to reply quickly to common emails
Many are calling it, “The Perfect Storm”. Some are calling it, “The best touchscreen smartphone device thus far”. We are calling it, “A device that was tested and released in the best interest of the Storm 9530 customers“. The BlackBerryStorm 9550 is now available for purchase over at Verizon. They seem to be running a spiffy deal where you buy the Storm2 with a 2 year contract (ouch) then you receive a $100.00 online discount at a total value of $179.99 bucks. One of the best features about this devices besides the typing functions is WIFI capability. We are just as excited as VERIZON about the release of this device. We would love to hear your feedback about the Storm2!
