Blackberry Curve 101
Hellooo BB addicts,
Somewhere between searching for keyboard shortcuts, new wallpapers, and convenient apps, it occured to me that the standard web browser on my brand new pink Blackberry Curve 8300 series is less than convenient. So, I’ve searched the web for something a bit more user-friendly, and have settled on Opera mini.
Opera mini has combined several functions on one homepage: a “go to” web bar, a search bar that gives you several search engines to choose from, a link to your feeds, and an editable list of easy-to-reach bookmarks that include the news, weather, and even free downloads (among other things). Not to mention Opera seems to run 10x faster than the normal browser, and even lets you surf pages in their original format, not in mini-format.

At the bottom of the homepage, Opera records a brief history, so you can easily relocate the page you were browsing after hastily turning it off when your boss walked in.
If you already have an Opera account, Opera mini allows you to sync all of your data between your phone and comp - just enter your username and password & it’s all done for you!
