There’s another option besides PocketMac available for us Macintosh users!
This post is for our Macintosh and BlackBerry audience. Since some of us here at BBC are Macintosh users I decided to post about MarkSpace’s newly released version of their sync tool called Missing Sync 2.0
Requirements:
Macintosh System
Mac OS X 10.4.11 Tiger or later; Mac OS X 10.5.6 Leopard or later
Syncing music requires iTunes 6.0 or later
Syncing photos with iPhoto requires iPhoto 5.0 or later
Entourage 2004 and 2008 supported but not required; Entourage X not supported
BlackBerry
BlackBerry OS version 4.2 or higher
Features of Missing Sync for your BlackBerry
- Sync your Calendar and Contacts
- Sync your notes and memos
- Sync iPhoto and video
- Sync with iTunes to your BlackBerry
- Backup text and call logs
I’m still testing the application and so far it seems to work. I encountered a few errors a few weeks ago. I’m still testing and will report back soon.

Glad there are more Mac users out there! I’m fairly new to Mac AND BB, so I am trying to figure out just what I CAN do between them… almost makes me wish I didn’t go for the Macbook, but I do love it so much… Will spend much time combing through this site for tips, tricks and advice from fellow users!
