Kara Bohigian Smith has long been addicted to mobile phone technology…since the alt.cellular usenet newgroups were the only game in town. The BlackBerry Storm is her first BlackBerry and she immediately became captivated by the device and the whole BlackBerry culture. Kara was just looking for a handheld to help manage her Ebay and Etsy businesses more efficiently while on the go and was amazed to find out that owning a BlackBerry opens up a whole new world! She’s very excited to be a part of BlackBerryChick.com and eager to share reviews, hints and info with other female BlackBerry users.
When she’s not emailing, texting, instant messaging, Twittering, Facebooking or browsing the web, and can actually put her BlackBerry down, Kara competes in powerlifting, Olympic lifting and strongwoman competitions and holds the world record in the bench press for her weight class. She also puts in a lot of time at the tables playing poker online.
A New York native, Kara graduated from Georgia Tech and now lives in Dayton, OH with her husband, professional Highland Games Athlete (the guys who wear kilts and throw rocks and telephone poles) Craig Smith.

Does anybody remember when BlackBerryForums was pratically the ONLY BlackBerry Forum around? He even remembers when PinStack was 2 weeks old. If you wanna talk about history in a very solid industry, this he has without a shadow of a doubt. Over the last 4 years he has been involved in creating solutions to allow BlackBerry users get the most out of their devices.
